We are operating at a time of extraordinary disruption due to the COVID pandemic. The health and safety of our team, our community, our customers and our suppliers remains our top priority at Oxley and we are following all advice from the UK Government to ensure we are taking the right action to protect our people.
As a defence contractor it is crucial that we continue to provide the industry with the critical military solutions they need to protect security. On this basis Oxley has continued to operate throughout the Covid pandemic. All facilities and processes remain fully operational without major disruption and the Group has a has a detailed business continuity plan with recovery strategies in place should the business be adversely affected. Oxley’s ability to embrace innovation and agility in adopting new ways of working have ensured that order commitments are being met and customers are receiving the excellent level of support they expect from Oxley.
We are in full adherence with the latest Government advice on working safely. Those employees who can work from home will continue to do so and we have new workplace arrangements with stringent hygiene regimes and social distancing measures in place to protect everyone working on site. The team is constantly monitoring potential impacts on the supply chain, freight services and import & export arrangements in order to mitigate against potential disruption.
Oxley’s ‘Covid Secure Self Certification’ highlights that we have taken all the steps advised by the UK Government. The Oxley management team are continuing to monitor the situation and will respond to any changes accordingly.
