The team can take a specification for requirements including power sources, electronic and mechanical functionality and bespoke software, and own the process through detailed design and testing to deliver a 'ready-for-manufacture' solution.
Oxley has many years' experience of delivering complex projects in a controlled environment and customers benefit from substantial investment in specialist personnel, toolsets, training and facilities. The Oxley design function incorporates programme management to ensure customers' needs in planning, risk management, master schedule integration and gate reviews are met.
Design service toolsets include Altium for electronic design and simulation, Solidworks and Inventor mechanical design and simulation packages, TracePro optical analysis software, FloEFD for 3D fluid flow heat transfer analysis, CATIA for aerospace file translation and transfer, and LDRA software test tools.
The team have experience of delivering aerospace software to specification RTCA-DO-178B - level B, and working with both the CAN bus message-based protocol, and LDRA software test system, through to DO-178B - level B certified documentation.
