Oxley Apprentices Raise Over £3000 For Local Charities

Oxley apprentices recently took part in the Brathay Apprentice Challenge, narrowly missing out on a top three finish from more than 100 teams.

As part of the challenge, each team was tasked with a charity fundraising mission, the Oxley team chose Barrow Foodbank, The Brathay Trust and Ulverston Inshore Rescue. In total their tremendous fundraising effort raised £3,239 and last week they handed over a cheque for £1,738 to Ulverston Inshore Rescue to allow the team to buy critical life saving equipment for their work in Morecambe Bay.
