Oxley Shortlisted For Manufacturing Award

In-Cumbria Business Awards 2017 Finalist Oxley Group is delighted to be shortlisted for Best Manufacturing Business in the prestigious 2017 in-cumbria Business Awards.  

This award recognises businesses that achieve excellent results through manufacturing. The judging criteria includes product excellence and innovation, evidence of success, potential for growth and the investment and focus on staff training and development.

Oxley has been committed to manufacturing in Cumbria since 1942, providing a full end to end service from facilities in Ulverston with design, machining, assembly and testing all completed in-house along with some very specialised processes such as plating, coating and glass cutting.

Oxley stays at the forefront of the industry through investment in R&D to develop new technologies to sustain future growth, many of the Oxley products are world leading and the group exports 74% of product to 33 countries around the world. Oxley customers include some of the world’s biggest defence and aerospace companies such as Boeing, Saab, Gulfstream, Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems.

Cumbria is home to world-leading companies at the forefront of global innovation, the in-cumbria Business Awards are designed to celebrate the success and enterprise of Cumbrian businesses and present an opportunity for companies to showcase their best work and brightest talent.

The winners will be revealed at an awards event hosted by Amol Rajan, BBC media editor and former editor of The Independent on November 9, at the Halston hotel in Carlisle.
