This High Intensity LED landing light is a robust dual mode solution with a peak intensity of 200,000 cd. The visible and covert modes enable landing and taxiing both using full illumination or when flying on covert operations using military night vision goggles.
 
The lighting fixture is designed as a replacement for existing PAR 46 units. The LED solution offers an MTBF in excess of 10,000 hours and far exceeds performance of existing technologies. The rugged light has a toughened borofloat glass lens with a matt black hard anodised finish to MIL-A-8625.
